Job summary

Charles IT is pleased to announce a 12-week IT Trainee Program starting in November 2026 in Middletown, NY. The program offers hands-on exposure to support admin tasks, Active Directory, Office 365, printer setups, and desktop deployments, with on-site training, self-paced modules, and certifications.

Participants will respond to client tickets by phone and email, learn a ticketing system, and may earn a full-time Desktop Support Specialist role after completion.

Qualifications

• Associate, Bachelor’s, or Graduate degree in Information Technology, or equivalent hands-on experience, is a plus.
• Technical certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Security+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications (MS-900, SC-900, AZ-900) is a plus.
• Prior experience in a help desk or related IT environment is a plus.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and able to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Support administrative and general office tasks.
• Assist with IT services and projects, including on-site deliveries and equipment drop-offs.
• Help maintain an organized office environment and support team efficiency.
• Learn and navigate the ticketing system as part of business operations.
• Complete self-paced technical training modules and certifications.
• Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the full 12-week program.
• Opportunity for a full-time role as a Desktop Support Specialist upon successful completion.
