Job summary

Florida Power & Light Company seeks an IT Technology Manager to establish strategy, develop business plans, and oversee design, development and implementation of technology solutions. You will lead IT disciplines, ensure system reliability, and align IT strategy with business goals while managing third-party relationships and driving DevOps initiatives.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in CS/CE/EE or related field with 8 years in IT, including 2 years in supervision, and extensive SharePoint,

Qualifications

High School Graduate/GED with a related IT background.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
8+ years IT experience with 2+ years supervisory or management experience.
5 years of SharePoint design, installation, configuration and administration experience.
2 years of experience SQL and 2 years of HTML.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership, vision, and direction to align IT strategy with business goals.
Oversee DevOps processes and automate code releases from development to operations.
Develop technology roadmaps and manage third party technical relationships.
Ensure reliability, performance, security, and continuity of IT systems.
Attract, develop, and retain a high-performing diverse IT team.
