Cal Tech Services Inc is seeking an IT Technician to ensure computer systems, networks, and equipment operate at peak performance. You will handle IT support requests and assist colleagues with their IT needs, playing a vital role in the smooth operation of the business.

The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, excellent customer service and communication abilities, and can train colleagues while addressing security considerations and maintaining an optimized local network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
• Previous IT Technician experience or IT Certification is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of data privacy and security.

Responsibilities

• Maintain computer hardware in working order.
• Set up employee workstations (computers, printers, routers, etc).
• Install and configure software.
• Train colleagues in best practices in technology and how to use software and equipment.
• Assess security risks and ensure the security of networks and computer systems.
• Maintain optimized local network.
