Job summary

Peco Foods in Mississippi is hiring an IT Infrastructure Technician to install and maintain desktop PCs, printers, and related equipment across facilities. You will configure software, troubleshoot hardware issues, and collaborate with the Infrastructure Team to keep systems running smoothly.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to work independently, and comfort with travel between Peco sites.

Qualifications

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Able to multi-task and prioritize.
Experience in a fast-paced environment.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft platforms (Office 2016 to current) and Windows Desktop OS.
Good understanding of network concepts and terms.
Ability to work independently with little supervision.

Responsibilities

Install and/or replace new personal computers.
Set up Peco, Microsoft Office, and other applications.
Install and/or replace printers.
Setup, configured, and troubleshoot network printers.
Connect network printers to personal computers.
Troubleshoot and correct personal computer problems reported by Team Members.
Communicate computer equipment changes to the Infrastructure Team.
Replace computer parts including disks, drives, power supplies, and monitors.
Interact with hardware support vendors to facilitate repair of computers under warranty.
Travel to Peco facilities within scope of responsibility.
