Job summary

City and County of Denver's Denver International Airport is seeking an IT Technician III to join the Field Services team. You will provide level-one support for Windows 11, Active Directory, hardware, software including Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Google Chrome, and VPN, along with basic AV equipment, while maintaining a professional, customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma (or GED).
• Five (5) years of IT experience in user support of desktop/legacy systems.
• Education/Experience equivalency may substitute for minimum experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide level-one support for Windows 11, Active Directory, desktop/laptop hardware, software (Office 365, Teams, Chrome), VPN, and basic AV equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues by phone, in person, and via email using multiple engagement methods.
• Log and document tickets for issues or requests.
• Process hardware requests for laptops, desktops, and smartphones.
• Replace/repair computer hardware components (e.g., drives, memory, batteries).
• Set up or move computers and hardware between offices.
• Coordinate tasks with other technicians/teams; escalate beyond tier-one as needed.
• Draft communications about scheduled events (maintenance, outages).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
