Job summary

Kodiak Area Native Association seeks an IT professional to provide desktop, network, and application support across multiple sites in Alaska. The PC Technician II/III tier offers advancement as skills grow, with focus on secure, reliable systems and outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities include installing and maintaining desktops, printers, mobile devices, Active Directory basics, and supporting EMR applications; travel to remote communities may be required by small aircraft.

Qualifications

• One year of professional IT experience or equivalent education with a technology emphasis
• Experience supporting desktops, printers, mobile devices, and Microsoft environments
• Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, Security+ or related certifications preferred
• Ability to work independently with moderate supervision

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop and laptop computers, printers, mobile devices, and related hardware
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues
• Respond to Help Desk requests and provide timely customer support
• Configure user accounts, permissions, and basic Active Directory administration
• Support Microsoft Office, Windows operating systems, and other enterprise software
• Provide user training and technical assistance to employees
• Install, terminate, and troubleshoot network cabling as needed
• Maintain accurate inventory of IT equipment and software assets
• Support EMR applications and clinical systems
• Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles
• (Expanded responsibilities at Level III) Senior escalation and complex troubleshooting
