Job summary

Pasco County Library Services is seeking an IT Technician II to provide second level Service Desk support, install and troubleshoot PCs, phones, and network infrastructure, and assist end users with system operations.

The role requires knowledge of Windows OS, VPN, Active Directory, SCCM, and mobile platforms, plus strong documentation skills; you will coordinate with vendors and help maintain library digital resources.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2 years IT experience with CompTIA A+
• Experience writing user documentation
• Experience with VOIP, email and smartphone integration preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide second level Service Desk support for Pasco County Library Services
• Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot PCs, telephones, and network infrastructure equipment
• Support library software (Hoopla, Overdrive, cloudLibrary, ILS)
• Maintain and report repairs for communication lines and infrastructure hardware/software
• Coordinate preventative maintenance with vendors
• Advise, train, and assist end users and staff on system operations
• Update documentation and procedures
