Job summary

Rapid Micro Biosystems is seeking an on-site IT Helpdesk Specialist in Lowell, MA to support internal customers, manage user accounts, and deploy systems using imaging tools. You will install software, set up hardware, and monitor patch status across the corporate network to ensure compliance and reliability.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with ticketing systems, hardware provisioning, and software deployments in a fast-moving environment, contributing to high-quality IT service

Qualifications

• Experience in IT helpdesk and ticketing.
• Experience with onboarding/offboarding tasks.
• Ability to perform hardware setup.
• Experience with software installations.
• Familiarity with patch management and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the helpdesk ticketing queue to provide resolutions to internal customers’ IT issues
• Process onboarding and offboarding tasks for new hires and employee departures
• User account creation
• System setup and deployment using a standardized imaging tool
• Physical setup of IT hardware for internal customers
• Perform software installations for core and add-on applications
• Monitor patching status for the corporate network, provide reports on compliance and remediate as necessary
