Job summary

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom is seeking an IT technician to troubleshoot and maintain Windows systems, POS devices, and park-wide A/V hardware. You will manage service tickets, support corporate IS projects, and uphold high performance standards while collaborating with park staff.

The role requires on-site work with variable hours including weekends and holidays. The ideal candidate can prioritize multiple tasks, lift up to 50 lbs, and communicate clearly in English.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 with a valid driver's license.
• Adhere to Six Flags policies including grooming standards.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects with independent judgment.
• Above-average knowledge of Microsoft Office, computers, printers and POS systems.
• Must be able to sit, stand, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must lift, push or pull 50lbs with or without assistance.
• Ability to communicate in English, written and verbal, for reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain hardware/software on Windows systems, POS, A/V hardware park-wide and the park network from the office and on-site.
• Track all service request updates and completion using a help desk ticketing system.
• Assist corporate IS staff with projects related to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom.
• Set high standards of performance for all areas within responsibilities.
• Cooperate with all associates and managers.
• Complete any and all tasks as requested by management.
