Job summary

The position requires two years of related experience, knowledge of Windows OS/Server, Office, TCP/IP, and strong customer service skills, with FDLE background checks and a commitment to service.

Qualifications

• Good working knowledge of Information Technology in general and the Department’s Operations.
• Minimum of two years paid work experience in a business/computer related field with at least six months in three specified areas.
• One year of college completed with a 2.5 GPA or better may substitute for a year of paid work experience.
• Must pass a FDLE fingerprint-based background check.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical support and training via phone, email, remote assistance, and in person.
• Maintains and monitors inventory of computer hardware and software.
• Operates computer systems and peripheral equipment as directed.
• Installs, configures, and troubleshoots operating systems, software, and hardware.
• Supports IT team in network, applications, and user support.
• Assists in disaster preparedness and recovery activities.
• Promotes positive customer service internally and externally.
