Job summary

Hialeahfl City Hall information systems team seeks an Information Systems Technician to perform computer repairs and upgrades and provide user support. Responsibilities include assisting with LAN/WAN, network topology, and technology provisioning under CIO guidance.

Candidates should have at least two years in IT, experience with Windows desktop and server, TCP/IP, Office, and hardware peripherals; college credit acceptable in lieu of experience; background check required.

Qualifications

As needed, the Information System Technician also participates in providing technical support for the City Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN), Internet topology, and the provisioning of new technology.ESSENTIAL EXAMPLES OF DUTIESThe following illustrates examples of some of the essential duties and responsibilities of the Information Systems Technician.
