Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 4–6 years of experience in information technology, systems administration or other IT related field.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and products including Windows OS, Windows Server, Office365, SharePoint and Teams.
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and resolve complex system hardware, software or networking problems.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and storage technologies.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and supports IT systems infrastructures.
• Conducts moderately complex analysis including planning, designing, and evaluating IT tools.
• Responds to user requests for system needs and upgrades.
• Troubleshoots and resolves complex problems with little to no supervision.
• Implements standards for computer operations and ensures hardware-software compatibility.
• Administers, runs tests on, and maintains operating systems and related software.
• Schedules, performs, and monitors backups; performs data recoveries when necessary.
• Performs root cause analysis, diagnostics, and monitoring on production systems.
• Identifies opportunities for process improvements and implements efficiencies with the team.
• Creates and maintains relevant system documentation and user guides.
• Plans and designs new platforms and integrates new technologies; evaluates releases.
• Conducts cost analysis of new platforms and technologies.
• Reviews problem management registers and defines actions.
• Applies scripting to automate related tasks.
