Job summary

Community Health Systems is seeking an Information Systems Lead to coordinate day-to-day IT operations, guide staff, and provide expert technical support. The role leads small projects, resolves complex incidents, and ensures processes align with organizational goals.

Responsibilities include maintaining secure, reliable systems, documenting procedures, and partnering with business users, vendors, and IT leadership to optimize technology across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of IT systems administration, technical support, or operations.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in a team lead, senior analyst, or similar role preferred.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles.

Responsibilities

• Leads and supports IT staff in daily operations, providing guidance, training, and subject matter expertise.
• Serves as a technical resource for troubleshooting complex issues and ensuring timely resolution of service requests and incidents.
• Coordinates small to medium-sized IT projects or tasks within larger initiatives, monitoring timelines and deliverables.
• Maintains a secure and highly available technical environment by supporting system updates, monitoring tools, and documentation.
• Collaborates with business users, vendors, and IT leadership to identify technology needs and ensure alignment with enterprise goals.
• Participates in the development and implementation of IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Contributes to workflow optimization by identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions.
• Escalates critical issues and risks to management and supports root cause analysis and resolution activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
