Job summary

Miccosukee Casino & Resort is seeking an experienced System Support Technician to join our team in Miami, Florida. The role focuses on supporting critical business systems and ensuring workstations and peripherals are fully functional while adhering to tribal and departmental policies.

The ideal candidate will have 3 years of IT networking experience, an A+ certification, and be able to obtain a Tribal Gaming License.

Qualifications

Must have High School diploma or equivalent.
A+ certification is required; MCSE/MCSA preferred.
3 years of experience in IT networking is required.

Responsibilities

Adhere to Miccosukee Service Expectations and ensure team compliance.
Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers, etc.).
Check computer hardware (HDD, mouse, keyboards, etc.) for functionality.
Install and configure software according to specifications.
Ensure security and privacy of computer systems.
Provide orientation and guidance to users on new software and equipment.
Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance.
Troubleshoot hardware and network connectivity problems.
Maintain records/logs of repairs and maintenance schedule.
Identify shortages and place orders for equipment.
Remove old equipment and migrate data to new machines.
Maintain professional conduct and attendance as essential functions.
