Job summary

Miccosukee Casino & Resort is seeking an experienced System Support Technician to join our IT team. You will maintain systems, provide technical support to users, and ensure smooth operation of point-of-sale hardware and resort facilities.

Candidates should have strong PC skills (Word, Excel), be able to work under pressure, and obtain/maintain a Tribal Gaming License. This role demands reliability, good communication, and a willingness to support guests and staff around the clock.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in English; bilingual is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Tribal Gaming License.
• 3 years of experience in Human Resources.
• Working knowledge of PC skills including MS Word and Excel.
• Maintain stamina and professional attitude with guests and staff under pressure.
• Ability to lift or carry a minimum of 20 pounds unassisted.
• Operate in a smoke-influenced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains systems, applications, and security/configurations.
• Provides technical support and guidance to users.
• Supports end users for POS hardware, resort, and gaming areas.
• Sets up workstations and peripheral devices; checks hardware functionality.
• Maintains repair records and maintenance schedules.
• Adheres to enterprise policies and collaborates across departments.
