Job summary

Power Electrics is seeking an IT Support Technician to join its IT department, providing frontline support to employees across multiple depots. You will handle helpdesk tickets, hardware setup, user account management, and basic network tasks.

You will work in a team, maintain asset records, ensure security updates, and contribute to continuous improvement while adhering to ISO 9001:2015 procedures. DBS checks are required for employment.

Qualifications

• Experience providing IT support via phone, email or in-person.
• Experience with Windows and macOS.
• Experience with Active Directory / Entra ID.
• Experience maintaining asset management records and licenses.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve IT support tickets via phone, email, or in-person walk-ups, prioritising workloads.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
• Onboard and offboard users, manage email accounts and Entra/AD permissions.
• Maintain logs of hardware, accessories, and software licenses.
• Support network connectivity and endpoint protection basics.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 policies and health and safety procedures.
