Air Force Global Strike Command (DAF) in Minot AFB, ND, is seeking a Computer Clerk and Assistant to administer and maintain information systems hardware and provide user support. The role includes installing software, maintaining security controls, and advising on system improvements.

The position requires one year of specialized experience with DoD/AF standards; a Secret clearance is needed. Telework is allowed per agency policy, and occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Specialized experience must include: use of computer/information systems and networking standards, policies, and techniques to support computer systems.
• Knowledge of computer hardware and software systems and their interfaces; and other job control languages.
• Ability to use and maintain a computer system, analyze problems, and train users on new systems.

Responsabilités

• Administers and maintains information systems hardware in compliance with Air Force directives.
• Recommends, installs, and maintains system software.
• Assists the network security officer with implementing security plans, procedures, and training to comply with Wing, Air Force, and Department of WaR standards.
