SFUSD is seeking an IT Operations Support Admin II. You will provide technical support for moderately sized networks, data centers, and mobile devices across San Francisco district locations.

The role emphasizes problem solving, user support, and maintaining system backups, with duties spanning installation, maintenance, and documentation. A CS-related degree and 1 year of network experience are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in computer science or closely related field or equivalent (60/90 credits with CS focus).
• One year of experience performing analysis, installation and technical support in a network environment.
• Substitution: additional experience may substitute for the degree.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring, operating and enhancing moderately complex computers, networks, and mobile devices.
• Installing and configuring computer hardware and software.
• Coordinating and scheduling hardware repairs; performing routine equipment maintenance.
• Providing on-site technical support for SFUSD staff at district locations.
• Maintaining scripts, procedures and user documentation.
