Job summary

Pace, the Suburban Bus Division of the Regional Transportation Authority, is seeking an IT technician to support industry-standard software and legacy systems, install and upgrade PCs, and maintain network configurations.

The role requires a high school diploma with LAN experience; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. Proficiency with Active Directory, MS Office, Windows/macOS/iOS/Android and flexible, on-call hybrid duties are expected.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma with at least three years of Windows LAN experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or relevant discipline preferred.
• Experience with microcomputer and network configurations; Active Directory including user creation, groups, and OUs.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving history.

Responsibilities

• Supporting software used today and legacy software necessary for the company to function.
• Installing, configuring, and upgrading microcomputers and related hardware and software.
• Supporting, training, and troubleshooting network hardware, software, operating systems and platforms, customized applications and fuel distribution system hardware and software.
• Formulating, developing, maintaining, and implementing standards for network PC/MAC images, applications, wiring, security, and hardware location.
• Providing support for telecommunications issues across multiple divisions and remote locations.
• Maintaining asset inventory control and auditing.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
