Job summary

Foxconn Industrial Internet - FII is seeking an IT System Administrator to maintain and optimize our internal IT infrastructure, supporting on-premises office and production environments. You will ensure smooth operation of desktops, networks, servers, and communications, while collaborating with the IT team on systems and security initiatives.

The role requires hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL, DHCP/DNS, and Microsoft 365, plus strong networking and cybersecurity

Qualifications

• Experience supporting on-premises IT in a corporate or production environment.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS and Windows Server administration.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and Microsoft 365 management.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day production IT support including shopfloor control system, SQL DB, server, desktop, software, account setup, Zebra printer, and barcode label design.
• Perform desktop maintenance and basic network troubleshooting (DHCP/DNS).
• Support users on hardware and wired/wireless networks and applications.
• Resolve Microsoft 365 issues at user level; coordinate with Microsoft 365 admin.
• Manage on-premises domain controllers and group policy deployment.
• Contribute to design/optimization of IT architecture for company systems.
• Assist IT team with other IT operations tasks as needed.
• Maintain network infrastructure: devices, servers, UPS, cabling per site.
• Ensure internet service and monitor web activities.
• Maintain Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, file server, and SFTP/FTP services.
• Configure Windows updates and antivirus systems.
• Respond to urgent network alerts during business hours and on-call.
• Support Phone System and Cisco IP Phone Manager.
• Provide data backup/restore support.
• Prepare to learn new IT, cloud, AI, cybersecurity tasks under management.
• Report issues to IT manager promptly and participate in project/status meetings.
• Be familiar with Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2016+, MS Office, SQL Server, and networking concepts.
• Understand cybersecurity tools, firewall concepts, Cisco, MDE/EDR, Fortinet FortiGate, Symantec.
• Experience with network monitoring tools and HP hardware.
