Job summary

Foxconn Industrial Internet - FII in Austin, TX seeks an IT Helpdesk Technician to be the first point of contact for IT issues, providing prompt support to internal users and maintaining productivity in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will diagnose hardware, software, and network problems, manage user accounts in Active Directory, deploy hardware and software, and document resolutions in the ticketing system, while following global IT standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in IT or related field required; certifications like A+ welcome.
• 3+ years in IT helpdesk or desktop support in manufacturing or high-tech settings.
• Strong troubleshooting for hardware and software and basic networking concepts.

Responsibilities

• First-Line Technical Support: Provide timely and effective first-line support to end-users.
• Troubleshooting & Resolution: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• System & Application Support: Assist with OS issues and Office Suite applications.
• User Account Management: Create/modify user accounts in Active Directory.
• Hardware & Software Deployment: Setup and deploy new computers and software.
• Documentation & Knowledge Base: Log requests and contribute to guides.
• Escalation & Collaboration: Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when needed.
• IT Standards Adherence: Follow global IT policies and security best practices.
