Job summary

SSR Mining Inc. seeks an IT Systems & Network Administrator to support reliable, secure site infrastructure. You will manage network deployments, firewall/VPN configurations, and cloud integrations across AWS/Azure, ensuring ongoing uptime and robust security.

Strong scripting and virtualization skills are essential. The role requires 5+ years of networking experience, CCNA/CCNP or equivalent certifications preferred, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant networking experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
• CCNA/CCNP or CompTIA Network+/Security+ preferred
• CompTIA Security+ preferred but not required
• Must be able to lift/maneuver 100+ lbs and hold a valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Plan and deploy network designs including routers, switches, VLANs.
• Configure firewalls, VPNs and access control policies.
• Monitor bandwidth and traffic patterns to prevent downtime.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and connectivity outages (including after hours).
• Manage cloud and hybrid integrations with AWS and Azure.
• Perform maintenance, updates, and backups; document configurations.
