Job summary

The U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) in Washington, DC, seeks a full-time IT Business Analyst/Project Manager to advance the IVLP mission and modernize information systems.

You will manage HVA compliance, data calls, and system analysis while coordinating with the IVLP program and DOS IT offices. Responsibilities include implementing security controls, conducting assessments, and guiding remediation plans with leadership, to enhance operational

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/IS/Cybersecurity/Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 3 years IT project management or business analysis experience.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and risk management.
• Experience with requirements gathering and IT modernization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication; ability to present to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; in-office 5 days a week.
• Maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead HVA system management, compliance, and data calls.
• Coordinate vulnerability remediation and POA&M creation.
• Conduct needs assessment and modernization planning.
• Document current systems and future roadmaps.
• Engage stakeholders and coordinate with DOS IT offices.
• Ensure FISMA metrics responsiveness and data quality.
