Job summary

Acuity, Inc. seeks a Senior IT Project Manager to lead planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise IT modernization initiatives for the U.S. Department of State.

You will coordinate cross‑functional teams across cloud, cybersecurity, infrastructure, automation, and data storage, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery aligned with mission priorities. You will collaborate with government stakeholders and Agile delivery teams, manage scope, risks, and KPIs, and guide transition of capabilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 10+ years managing enterprise IT projects for federal government.
• PMP certification is required.
• Agile certifications such as CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist, ITIL 4 Foundation are preferred.
• Experience leading multiple concurrent tech projects (infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, automation, software development, or enterprise operations).
• Experience managing geographically dispersed teams and international operations.
• Strong SDLC, DevSecOps, and federal IT governance understanding.
• Experience with MS Project, Azure DevOps, Jira, ServiceNow or equivalent tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of multiple IT modernization projects (Overseas Operations, Automation, Overseas Data Storage).
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, and risk registers across workstreams.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including cloud engineering, cybersecurity, and software development.
• Serve as primary liaison between government stakeholders, PM, tech leads, vendors, and engineering teams.
