Job summary

Fairmount Park Casino & Racing is hiring an IT Manager to support overall facility operations through IT solutions and efficiency. You will cover IT operations in the absence of the Director of IT.

You will oversee the IT department, ensure network and data security, manage budgets, procure technology, and develop staff. A four-year degree in Computer Science or MIS and at least three years’ IT management experience are required, with flexibility for nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old and able to obtain gaming license.
• Four-year degree in Computer Science, MIS, or similar, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three years' IT Manager experience.
• Knowledge of casino game rules and gaming regulations.
• Expertise in data center management, data governance, and networks.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IT department operations and efficiency.
• Maintain LAN hardware, software, and telecommunications services.
• Develop policies for hardware/software acquisition, use, support, security, and backups.
• Support user access and operation of software programs.
• Ensure data, network security, and backups systems.
• Identify and implement strategic solutions for IT operations.
• Audit systems and enforce regulatory compliance.
• Manage IT budget and procurement for the property.
• Train and develop IT staff; conduct quarterly reviews.
• Participate in IT support on-call rotation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
