Job summary

Fairmount Park Casino & Racing seeks an IT Manager to lead the IT department and ensure reliable operations across network, data centers, and security. You will design, install, and maintain local area networks and IT infrastructure, implement policies, and support business continuity while guiding a team and budgeting technology resources.

The role requires a four-year degree in CS or MIS, at least three years in IT management, and readiness to work nights and weekends in a regulated gaming

Qualifications

• Must have a four-year degree in Computer Science, MIS, or similar
• Must have three years of working experience as an IT Manager
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license (Gaming Board)
• Must have knowledge of casino game rules
• Must have expertise in data center management and data governance
• Must have hands-on experience with computer networks and network installation
• Must have strong organizational, planning, and supervisory skills
• Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall operations of the IT department
• Oversee IT systems functionality and efficiency
• Design, configure, install, and maintain LAN hardware and telecom services
• Develop and implement policies for hardware, software, security, and backups
• Respond to user needs regarding network access and software operation
• Ensure data security, access, and backup systems
• Audit systems and enforce policy compliance
• Manage IT budget and procurement for the property
• Lead and develop IT staff through training and performance reviews
• Participate in IT support on-call rotation
