Job summary

The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America Foundation is seeking a Systems Analyst/Technical Project Manager to analyze business needs, translate them into technical specifications, and drive software enhancement projects. You will partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure solutions are delivered on time and to spec.

The role is Chicago-based with a hybrid schedule, requiring HubSpot and Workday experience, strong requirements gathering, and leadership across the IT team

Qualifications

• 7+ years in information technology with 5+ years as Systems Analyst/Technical Project Manager
• Hands-on experience with HubSpot and Workday
• Experience coordinating third parties on software enhancement projects
• Strong requirements-gathering, process-mapping, and documentation skills
• Full software implementation lifecycle experience including testing and UAT
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Experience supervising or leading team members
• Appreciation for ELCA mission and values

Responsibilities

• Gather, document, and analyze business and functional requirements
• Translate business needs into technical specs and acceptance criteria
• Serve as liaison with third-party vendors and implementation partners
• Manage third-party relationships across the project lifecycle
• Engage internal stakeholders to align requirements and drive completion
• Supervise and support IT team member with priorities and guidance
• Configure, test, and support enterprise platforms including HubSpot and Workday
• Design and execute test plans (functional, integration, regression, UAT)
• Support data mapping, migration, and validation
• Maintain system documentation and training materials
• Recommend process improvements and provide post-implementation support
