Job summary

AirBoss Flexible Products seeks an IT Specialist to support the Information Systems team and customer facilities. You will provide Help Desk assistance, systems administration, onboarding for new hires, and equipment purchasing.

You will diagnose and resolve technical problems, install hardware, and support software and network services. The role emphasizes adherence to safety, quality, and company policies.

Qualifications

• Degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science, IT or equivalent with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• 3+ years support for Windows 10/7 operating systems and related software.
• 3+ years support for Windows Server 2012/2008 environments.
• 3+ years experience with Microsoft Office products including O365.
• 2+ years experience with Active Directory (user adds/deletes/manages).
• 2+ years experience with Group Policy configuration.
• 2+ years experience with DNS management and troubleshooting.
• Ability to manage projects assigned by IS managers.
• Knowledge of wiring and cabling for IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Responds to end users’ needs and concerns regarding computer applications and systems.
• Diagnoses and resolves technical problems, escalating when necessary.
• Installs hardware and peripheral components (monitors, keyboards, printers, disk drives).
• Provides support for software and hardware.
• Set up new hires with equipment as designated.
• Purchase components and supplies related to IT function.
• Complete projects as assigned.
• Understand and follow Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality policies.
• Abide by company policies, procedures, and regulations.

Education

Degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar field or work experience

3+ years support for Windows 10,7

3+ years support for Windows server 2012, 2008

3+ years support for Microsoft Office Products including O365

2+ years experience with Active Directory (Add/Delete/Manage Users)

2+ years experience with Group Policy

2+ years experience with DNS

Ability to handle projects as assigned by IS managers

Knowledge of wiring and cables
