Job summary

Fuel Cycle is seeking an IT Systems Engineer – Tier I in Los Angeles, CA, for an entry-to-early-career role supporting IT infrastructure, endpoints, user access, cloud platforms, and AI tools. You’ll work under IT leadership, follow established procedures, and contribute to documentation and automation initiatives.

This onsite role requires five days in the office, with opportunities to grow across multiple IT disciplines in a fast-paced environment serving major brands.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of IT support or junior systems administration experience.
• Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating environments and productivity tools (M365, Google Workspace).
• Basic understanding of user account management in Active Directory, Entra ID, or OKTA.
• Exposure to endpoint management tools such as Intune, JAMF, or similar MDM platforms.
• Foundational knowledge of networking concepts: DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Wi‑Fi, and VPN.
• Basic scripting familiarity with PowerShell or Bash.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow documented procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues across Windows and macOS devices.
• Manage device enrollment, configuration, and basic policy assignments using Microsoft Intune, JAMF Pro, and NinjaOne.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding: provision devices, apply standard configurations, and prepare equipment for new recruits.
• Perform routine patch management and OS updates across managed endpoints; elevate failures to senior staff.
• Maintain hardware inventory and asset tracking records.
• Assist with M365 administration: Exchange Online, Teams settings, SharePoint permissions, and license assignments.
• Provide first-line support for AI tool issues and onboarding of AI tools.
• Document runbook steps and update knowledge base articles to improve team efficiency.
