Job summary

VPT, Inc. is seeking a motivated Information Technology professional to support our Chelmsford and Lawrence, MA locations. This full-time role will float between sites, handling daily IT and infrastructure tasks to keep operations running smoothly.

You will provide end-user support, perform routine system maintenance, and upgrade software. A Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3+ years of experience are required, along with being a US Person.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Accounting Information Systems.
• At least three years of relevant work experience.
• US Person is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to end users and resolve hardware, software, system access, and connectivity issues.
• Perform routine system maintenance including backups and recovery options.
• Maintain system uptime and performance through proactive issue resolution.
• Acquire, install, and test system software upgrades and updates.
• Install and test computer hardware/components as required.
• Configure system software to meet operational requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems involving systems and software and basic networking.
• Maintain documentation of IT infrastructure and related information.
