Job summary

VPT, Inc. is seeking a motivated Information Technology professional to support our Chelmsford, MA and Lawrence, MA locations. This full-time role will float between sites to provide daily IT and infrastructure support, including user assistance, system maintenance, and software/hardware upgrades.

The anticipated starting salary is $85,000 to $95,000 per year, with benefits and a comprehensive compensation package. Equal opportunity employer. US Person required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Accounting Information Systems.
• At least three years of relevant work experience.
• US Person (citizenship or work authorization requirements).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical end-user support and troubleshoot hardware, software, access, and connectivity issues.
• Perform routine systems maintenance, backups, and recovery testing.
• Maintain system uptime and monitor performance; address issues proactively.
• Install, test, and upgrade system software and hardware components.
• Configure system software to meet operational needs.
• Troubleshoot technical problems across systems and basic networking.
• Document IT infrastructure and create troubleshooting procedures.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of configurations and procedures.
