Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics is seeking an IT Systems Engineer II or III to design, deploy, and support compute infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. The role emphasizes VMware/Nutanix management, data center operations, and disaster recovery planning.

Candidates should have 2–7+ years of systems engineering experience, with a BS in a computer-oriented field and strong problem solving skills. This is an onsite opportunity in Lynnwood, WA or Burbank, CA.

Qualifications

• BS degree in computer-oriented technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Experience with cloud and on-prem compute technologies; hypervisors, networking, storage, backups.
• Ability to design, deploy, and maintain compute environments and provide escalated support.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, support, and maintain compute infrastructure on-prem and in the cloud.
• Patch and manage data center and cloud technologies (VMware, Nutanix, Azure, Oracle OCI).
• Ensure uptime of critical systems through monitoring and remediation; deploy and manage VMs both on-prem and in cloud.
