Job summary

System One is seeking an IT Systems Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and optimize enterprise IT infrastructure. The role emphasizes reliability, security, and performance of business-critical systems and requires strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities include managing server, network, and cloud environments, Active Directory, backups, and DR planning, with collaboration across IT teams to meet security and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in systems administration, systems engineering, or infrastructure support.
• Experience with Windows Server and Linux environments.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and firewalls.
• Experience supporting cloud-based infrastructure and services.
• Familiarity with backup, recovery, and high-availability solutions.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support server, network, and cloud infrastructure environments.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security to ensure optimal operation.
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and identity management solutions.
• Support virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or similar platforms.
• Administer cloud services including Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, procedures, and technical standards.
