Job summary

TLA is seeking a skilled and proactive Systems Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our organization's critical IT infrastructure. The role focuses on reliability, performance, and security across cloud and on‑premises environments, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust technology solutions aligned with business objectives.

Responsibilities include system design, monitoring, automation, troubleshooting, security and compliance, documentation, and capacity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT.
• 3–5 years in systems engineering or administration.
• Experience with Linux/Windows Server, virtualization, and cloud platforms.
• Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Strong networking knowledge and familiarity with Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable IT architectures across cloud and on‑premises environments.
• Monitor system health and performance; optimize uptime and reliability.
• Automate repetitive tasks using scripting to improve efficiency.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and conduct root-cause analysis.
• Ensure security and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Document configurations, processes, and procedures for audits.
• Plan capacity, backups, disaster recovery, and failover strategies.
