Job summary

Optimus Technology, Inc. is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to support the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems supporting critical enterprise applications.

The role covers infrastructure management, ensuring availability, reliability, security, and performance of enterprise services. It includes day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client systems, servers, storage, networking, and related infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with cloud platforms and enterprise IT environments.
• Experience implementing and operating DevOps pipelines and automation.
• Knowledge of security controls, vulnerability remediation, and RMF/ATO processes.
• Ability to design, deploy, and operate infrastructure as code and modernized architectures.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) support for enterprise applications.
• Manage IT system infrastructure to ensure availability, reliability, security, and performance.
• Configure, administer, and maintain Windows and UNIX/Linux OS and related software.
• Support planning, testing, deployment, and sustainment of changes across on‑premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.
• Collaborate with engineering to support infrastructure modernization and automation initiatives.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and system baselines.
