Job summary

A leading staffing firm is seeking an IT Systems Engineer to develop and support automation for office technologies. This role involves building IT services using infrastructure as code and configuring company hardware. Ideal candidates will have a BS in Computer Science and 3+ years of experience in IT Engineering, with strong skills in scripting languages and understanding of network theory. Qualifications

• 3+ years of equivalent IT Engineering experience required.
• Experience with workflow automation and asset management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support workflow automation for employee lifecycle.
• Build and maintain IT services with infrastructure as code.
• Design and develop internal tooling and monitoring for IT services.
• Partner with Facilities to set up new office spaces.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain company hardware.

Skills

Scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, Bash, PowerShell)

Understanding of network theory

What's the Job?

• Develop and support workflow automation for employee lifecycle and office technologies, including SaaS applications, MDM, asset management.
• Build and maintain IT services with infrastructure as code.
• Design and develop internal tooling and monitoring for IT services and cross‑functional partners.
• Partner with Facilities to set up new office spaces, including procurement and installation of AV, networking, and security equipment.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain company hardware.

What's Needed?

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent / 3+ years of equivalent IT Engineering experience.
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, Bash, PowerShell, etc.).
• Experience using REST APIs.
• Understanding of network theory.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and public clouds.
