A leading technology solutions provider is seeking an IT Systems Engineer to support various teams across the organization. This role involves developing workflow automation, designing internal tooling, and configuring company hardware. The ideal candidate should have a BS in Computer Science and over 3 years of IT Engineering experience along with skills in scripting languages and cloud services. • Develop and support workflow automation for employee lifecycle and office technologies.
• Build and maintain IT services with infrastructure as code.

• Configure, deploy, and maintain company hardware.

Our client, a leading technology solutions provider, is seeking an IT Systems Engineer to join their team. As an IT Systems Engineer, you will be part of the IT department supporting various teams across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: San Francisco, CA (Onsite)

Contract: W2

Local Requirement: Must be local/nearby to San Francisco, CA

What's the Job?

• Develop and support workflow automation for employee lifecycle and office technologies, including SaaS applications, MDM, asset management.
• Build and maintain IT services with infrastructure as code.
• Design and develop internal tooling and monitoring for IT services and cross-functional partners.
• Partner with our Facilities Team to set up new office spaces, including procurement and installation of AV, networking, and security equipment.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain company hardware.

What's Needed?

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent / 3+ years of equivalent IT Engineering experience.
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, Bash, Powershell, etc.).
• Experience using REST APIs.
• Understanding of network theory.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and public clouds.
