Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an IT Systems Engineer for our client, a leading technology solutions provider, to support multiple teams from the San Francisco, CA onsite location. The role emphasizes automation, infrastructure as code, and cross-functional collaboration.

Ideal candidates will bring 3+ years of IT engineering experience, strong scripting skills, REST API proficiency, and familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure. Local candidates are required for this onsite position.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent / 3+ years IT Engineering experience.
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Experience using REST APIs.
• Understanding of network theory.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and public clouds.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support workflow automation for employee lifecycle and office technologies, including SaaS applications, MDM, asset management.
• Build and maintain IT services with infrastructure as code.
• Design and develop internal tooling and monitoring for IT services and cross-functional partners.
• Partner with Facilities to set up new office spaces, including procurement and installation of AV, networking, and security equipment.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain company hardware.

As an IT Systems Engineer, you will be part of the IT department supporting various teams across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
