Job summary

The Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines is offering a paid IT Co-Op position for students pursuing engineering or computer science degrees. You will support, maintain, and enhance systems used throughout the Bank, assist with application analysis, development, testing, and troubleshooting, and gain hands-on experience with both internally developed applications and vendor-supported platforms.

Qualifications

Working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or pursuing/completing a Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with agile or waterfall development practices.
Experience with Java stack development.
MS SQL Server knowledge including SSRS/SSIS.
Interest in financial institutions and financial instruments.
Able to work full-time hours while a student.

Responsibilities

Support, maintain, and enhance systems used throughout the Bank.
