Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking an IT Systems Analyst to design, test, implement, and troubleshoot IT applications while ensuring the availability and reliability of clinical systems. The role involves monitoring performance, resolving issues, and supporting end-users across departments.

The ideal candidate has 2 years of experience in healthcare IT or clinical workflows, with strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with IT colleagues and clinical staff.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in healthcare clinical workflows and/or IT support.
• Experience with nursing, provider, or ancillary department technologies is preferred.
• Basic understanding of healthcare operations and clinical workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, implement, and troubleshoot IT applications to ensure availability, stability and reliability of clinical systems.

They monitor system performance, identify, and resolve technical issues, and ensure efficient operation of all clinical systems. The analyst also provides technical support to end-users and collaborates with other IT teams to resolve complex technical problems related to clinical systems.Education: Preferred: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, a related field, or equivalent experience. Experience: Required: 2 years of experience in healthcare clinical workflows and/or IT support, including experience with nursing, provider, or ancillary department technologies OR Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, a related field. Skills: • Basic understanding of healthcare operations and clinical workflows • Basic knowledge of inter-related solutions and IT systems knowledge with the aligned application domain.
