Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an IT System Administrator to provide client services support, handle IAM incidents, and fulfill end-user access requests across AD and SharePoint. You will install and configure software, manage licenses, and maintain licensing records to meet compliance.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, problem solving, and continuous improvement, with occasional travel and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide Client Services support via ticketing systems, Hotline, or other methods.
• Act on ITSM incidents and service requests in the Identity and Access Management queue.
• Fulfill end-user access requests for enterprise apps integrated with Active Directory.
• Install and configure approved hardware and software per policies.
• Purchase software licenses and ensure timely renewals.
• Maintain software licensing records for compliance.
• Create and maintain software purchasing records, including receipts and cost centers.
• Test and troubleshoot applications; interface with suppliers and users.
• Support and maintain custom applications and upgrade roadmaps.
• Support project planning, implementation, and training for new apps and upgrades.
• Provide first-layer IT Operations support and triage to senior team.
• Manage leave-of-absence network user accounts in AD, AAD, SharePoint.

• Fulfill end-user access requests for enterprise applications and systems integrated with Active Directory
• Install and configure approved hardware and software according to company policies
• Purchase software licenses and ensure timely renewals
• Maintain software licensing records for compliance
• Create and maintain software purchasing records, including receipts, users, and cost centers
• Test and troubleshoot applications using appropriate procedures and technologies
• Interface with suppliers and users to ensure software meets functional requirements
• Support and maintain custom applications and tool consolidation and upgrade roadmaps
• Support project planning, implementation, and training for new applications and upgrades
• Provide first-layer IT Operations support and triage questions to senior team members
• Create, move, change, transfer, and manage leave-of-absence network user accounts in AD, AAD, and SharePoint

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in system administration, including server application installations, configuration, and maintenance
• Technical knowledge of computer equipment operation, testing, and maintenance
• Knowledge of software installation, upgrading, and support
• Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and computer deployments
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
• Self-driven and self-directed with a great attitude
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong interest in efficiency and continuous improvement
• Skilled in Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel
• High School Diploma
• Only US Persons will be considered where access to Controlled Data or Information is required under ITAR
• Must complete a satisfactory background check
• Flexible and willing to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Approximately 15% travel to support customers
• Preferred: BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• Preferred: Previous experience with engineering tools
