Job summary

ProMach in Charlotte, NC seeks a Systems Administrator to lead Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware/Hyper‑V, and network infrastructure across multiple sites. You will evaluate, stabilize, and standardize IT environments while supporting end users and delivering practical, site‑level IT solutions.

Travel up to 25%, strong documentation, patch management with N-able/NCentral, ServiceNow, SonicWall, and collaboration with IT leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in user support, systems administration, network management, and virtualization.
• Proficiency with Windows Server 2012-2025, Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS/DHCP.
• Experience with VMware vSphere and/or Hyper-V administration.
• Strong network experience, including knowledge of switching, routing, and firewalls (SonicWall preferred).
• Hands-on experience with Nable/NCentral or similar patch and automation platforms.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or comparable ITSM systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and customer communication skills.
• Certifications such as MCSA/MCSE, VMware VCP, or Network+/Security+ are preferred.
• Travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, stabilize, and standardize infrastructure across multiple facilities.
• Provide end-user support and lead site-level IT initiatives.
• Lead technical project execution for Windows Server, AD, VMware/Hyper-V, and network upgrades.
• Maintain patch management and security compliance across devices.
• Document configurations, procedures, and SOPs; mentor junior staff.
