Job summary

Alutiiq Information Management, LLC, a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC, seeks an IT Systems Administrator in San Diego, CA. The role supports NIWC Pacific RESTORE lab, handling IT operations, security, and user support in a Navy/DoD environment.

Responsibilities include configuring client/server systems, Active Directory, Exchange, Teams accounts, and maintaining security policies; occasional travel is not required. Hiring for a full-time on-site position with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in information technology or related field/equivalency.
• Two to five years of related experience in IT support.
• Current Security+ certification or ability to obtain it.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• SECRET clearance or ability to gain clearance.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain client/server configurations.
• Manage accounts, firewalls, patches; create AD, Exchange, and Teams accounts.
• Support IT needs across departments and offices; procure and install PCs and apps.
• Oversee backup/recovery tasks and implement security controls.
• Respond to malware incidents and remediate infected systems.
• Analyze and develop IT system security, testing and maintenance.
• Provide user support for software/hardware issues via multiple channels.
• Set up and troubleshoot Business/Teams video conferences and AV systems.
