Job summary

GTI Energy is looking for a Systems Administrator based in Des Plaines, Illinois. This role involves supporting the IT team by maintaining a highly virtualized Microsoft environment, managing technologies such as Active Directory and Azure.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IT infrastructure, problem-solving skills, and a Bachelor’s degree in IT. A hybrid work schedule is offered, ensuring flexibility while prioritizing operational needs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience as a Systems or Network Administrator preferred.
• Familiarity with Power BI and SharePoint Online preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support GTI Energy’s server and infrastructure environments.
• Monitor system performance and address issues proactively.
• Administer and resolve support for IT systems.

Skills

Strong understanding of Azure Active Directory

Working knowledge of Microsoft Intune

Experience administering network hardware

Experience managing virtual environments

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication skills in English

Education

Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field

7+ years of relevant professional experience
