GTI Energy is looking for a Systems Administrator based in Des Plaines, Illinois. This role involves supporting the IT team by maintaining a highly virtualized Microsoft environment, managing technologies such as Active Directory and Azure.

Reporting to the Supervisor of Hardware and Infrastructure, the Systems Administrator will support GTI Energy’s Information Technology team by maintaining and enhancing a highly virtualized Microsoft environment. This role includes working with technologies such as Active Directory, Azure, cloud services, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, Intune, NetApp SAN and NAS storage, cybersecurity tools, and backup solutions.
The Systems Administrator will support day-to-day operations, contribute to IT process and project execution, assist with incident response and complex issue resolution, and play an active role in change management initiatives that strengthen and expand business systems.

This position is based at GTI Energy’s headquarters in Des Plaines, Illinois. Employees follow a hybrid work schedule and are expected to work on-site Tuesday through Thursday. Remote work on some Mondays and Fridays may be permitted based on business needs and IT support rotation requirements.
The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 USD annually. This salary range is GTI Energy’s good faith estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, GTI Energy’s business or organizational needs and an individual’s relevant experience, education, qualifications, certifications, skills, seniority, geographic location, and/or performance. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus. The range listed is just one component of GTI Energy’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, paid time off, and region-specific benefits.
