Job summary

Neuralink is seeking a hands‑on IT Systems Administrator to own the day‑to‑day technology experience for every employee. You will support endpoints, manage IAM, enforce security policies, and provide front‑line IT help across a diverse user base including engineers and clinicians.

The role emphasizes empathetic customer service, reliable systems, and adherence to HIPAA/PII requirements in a fast‑paced environment. Base salary is discussed with RSU equity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical field.
• 3–5 years of expert end‑user support across macOS, Windows, and Linux.
• Hands‑on experience with at least one enterprise MDM platform at scale.
• Experience administering an enterprise IDP/IAM platform and SSO/MFA workflows.
• Experience implementing security policies and HIPAA/PII knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide tier‑1 end‑user support across macOS, Windows, and Linux.
• Deploy and manage endpoint devices using MDM platforms with policy enforcement.
• Administer IDP/IAM systems and manage user lifecycles including onboarding/offboarding.
• Implement security policies across endpoints and SaaS apps; perform audits/remediation.
• Maintain SaaS apps (Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, etc.).
• Troubleshoot network issues including VLANs and Wi‑Fi connectivity.
• Maintain hardware inventory and lifecycle tracking for endpoints.
• Develop automation scripts (Bash, Python, PowerShell) to optimize IT tasks.
• Ensure HIPAA/PII compliance and robust access controls; document systems/processes.
