Job summary

flyExclusive, based in Raleigh, NC, is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to manage our Microsoft 365 environment, EntraID, and on‑premise servers. The role covers end‑to‑end configuration, security, and automation to ensure continuous operations for about 678 employees across Raleigh and Kinston locations.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in systems administration, strong PowerShell skills, and experience with Exchange Online, Intune, and DR planning. On‑call duties are included.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 3–5 years of hands-on systems administration in a production environment
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 and Entra ID (Azure AD) incl. Conditional Access and MFA
• Endpoint management for Windows and macOS using Intune or similar
• Exchange Online administration incl. mail flow and groups
• Proficiency with PowerShell for automation and reporting
• Knowledge of Windows Server, virtualization, core networking, DNS/DHCP/VLANs/VPN
• Backup and DR for on-prem and cloud data including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive
• Endpoint security and patching; on-call rotation readiness
• Ability to learn systems independently and communicate effectively

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary administrator for infrastructure and cloud platforms
• Manage Microsoft 365 and Entra ID lifecycle and security
• Configure endpoint management across Windows and macOS
• Administer Exchange Online mail flow and groups
• Monitor, patch, and optimize systems for uptime and efficiency
• Develop PowerShell scripts for automation and reporting
• Oversee data backup and DR for on‑prem and cloud services
• Maintain hardware/software inventory and access controls
• Provide escalation support within IT and coordinate vendor troubleshooting
• Participate in after-hours on-call schedule and tool rollouts
