Job summary

Manatee County Sheriff's Office in Gainesville, FL seeks an IT Infrastructure Administrator to manage and safeguard the agency's IT backbone.

You will administer Active Directory, Entra (Azure AD), Exchange (On-Premises and Microsoft 365), Windows Server environments, and monitoring platforms, ensuring systems are current, secure, and highly available. After hours and weekend support is required. Strengthen security, optimize performance, and document changes through SOPs and regular reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years administering enterprise IT infrastructure including AD/Entra, Exchange, and Windows Server environments.
• Certifications such as Azure Administrator, Windows Server Hybrid Administrator, or 365 Enterprise Administrator preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage enterprise IT infrastructure including AD/Entra environments.
• Support Microsoft Exchange On-Premises and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Maintain Windows Server environments and system monitoring platforms.
• Plan hardware/software upgrades and provide after-hours support as needed.
