Job summary

True Vet Solutions, a veteran advocacy organization, is seeking a Systems Administrator to support our growing infrastructure. This role is remote-first and focused on maintaining secure, reliable systems to serve veterans across the United States.

You will manage Microsoft 365, devices, user access, and IT tickets, collaborate with HR on onboarding/offboarding, and help keep systems compliant with security practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years a remote or spread-out workforce
• Thorough understanding of Microsoft 365 administration.
• Experience managing laptops remotely with Intune or a similar tool.
• Able to explain tech clearly to people who aren't technical.

• Access: logins and permissions in Microsoft 365, plus user access across our other apps.
• Devices: buying laptops, setting them up, shipping them out and processing returns.
• Tickets: working the IT queue in SysAid.
• New Hires and exits: coordinating with HR to set up and shut off accounts and equipment.
• Security basics: two-factor login, device encryption, regular checks on who has access to what.

The mission of this role

As a Systems Administrator, you will help facilitate our growth and continue our success. True Vet Solutions is seeking a motivated, hard-working Systems Administrator to help support our infrastructure and assist in the maintenance of our organization.

What you'll own

Requirements

• Available Monday-Friday, core hours in a U.S. time zone.
• 3+ years a remote or spread-out workforce.
• Thorough understanding of Microsoft 365 administration.
• Experience managing laptops remotely with Intune or a similar tool.
• Able to explain tech clearly to people who aren't technical.

Nice to have

• Experience in a HIPAA or other regulated setting.
• Scripting experience, such as PowerShell.
• Any exposure to Keap or Superhuman Docs (Coda).
