Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics in the United States is seeking an IT Operations intern to support day-to-day operating objectives of the assigned area. You’ll gain knowledge of IT Department technologies and procedures, and receive guidance from senior IT team members.

The role involves assisting with enterprise infrastructure tasks, ticket management, and knowledge base documentation, while using FreshService and Atlassian applications to coordinate support activities.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Computer Science or related bachelor’s degree program.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Strong Windows OS background.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Well-organized and able to work in a team.
• Able to manage responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operating objectives of the assigned area.
• Participate in Wave IT projects and programs.
• Support the Head of IT Operations.
• Gain knowledge of IT Department technologies and procedures.
• Receive guidance and mentoring from senior IT team members.
• Assist with Enterprise Infrastructure tasks and foundational skills.
• Assist with ticket management and resolution.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team on status.
• Utilize FreshService and Atlassian applications to coordinate support activities.
• Create and update Knowledge Base documentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
